2025-2026 Studio Calendar and Other Fun Updates!

Hello Everyone! I’m back from a whirlwind adventure of participating as an exhibitor at a convention for the FIRST TIME! The prep required was nearly overwhelming, but it went so well and I can’t wait to do it again! More on this convention later!

2025-2026 Studio Calendar Now Available

First, I want to announce that the 2025-2026 Studio Calendar digital download is now available for purchase in the shop! I was inspired by some beautiful sunsets I saw while visiting the beach this summer, and decided to make it a dusk color scheme with beautiful water color styled gradient sky. I couldn’t resist adding some little cute star friends to the design and drew a bunch them when I realized: Not everyone will appreciate little star friends on an academic calendar.

Last year, I did receive some feedback that my color scheme was too muted, and even though I realize it’s impossible to please EVERYONE, I DO want to make something beautiful that most people will like.

I decided to include a version of the calendar that had some more mass appeal, and kept the dusk themed watercolor border, but removed the stars. When you purchase the 2025-2026 Studio Calendar, you receive BOTH designs! I’ll leave it up to you which one matches the tone of your studio.

NEW THIS YEAR: CANVA EDITABLE TEMPLATE!

For the first time, I’m including a link to an editable Canva template of the studio calendar! This means after you purchase the studio calendar, you can open your digital download and click a link and personalized your schedule directly in Canva — a web-based graphics application. You don’t need to download, install, or purchase Canva to do this — Canva is free to use. (There is a paid version, but it’s not necessary for what we are using it for).

Canva

Never used Canva before? That’s ok! I recorded a tutorial that demonstrates going through and adding a sample schedule to the studio calendar inside of Canva. Made with beginners in mind, I strived to keep the tutorial basic and succinct. Let me know if you find it helpful! (There are a lot of other tutorials available on my website and my youtube!

Other Ways to Edit the Studio Calendar

In the digital download is also a file for a Microsoft Word document (.docx) in case you are more familiar with using that software. There is also a blank calendar image that you can use with other word processors of your choice such as Google Docs and Pages. There are instructions included to help you through that process!

Binder Cover and Key Signature Chart

Each time I create a studio calendar, I also like to release a matching Binder Cover and Key Signature chart. Used together with the studio calendar, you can create a very pretty binder set up for your student to use all year long. This is available now, as well!

Quick Convention Recap

This time I was at the Texas Music Teacher Associations annual conference and it was SO FUN to finally meet so many people who love the products here and who also knew my mom personally. My goal was to use the booth as sort of a mini pop-up store to see if any physical version of products would interest piano teachers, and the short answer is: Yes! They loved them. And that has given me the courage to try something new, and that’s to offer some physical products in the store.

In my booth!

Physical Products coming soon!

While they aren’t posted in the shop yet, these physical products will coming to the store this JULY!

  • Printed Fun with Frogs My First Piano Book
  • Printed Fun with Frogs Book 2
  • Printed Fun with Frogs Book 3
  • Waterproof die-cut stickers (Various designs)

Waterproof Die Cut Stickers

I have a few other ideas, but honestly the transition into offering physical products is a daunting one! As a one-woman business, there are new challenges that need to be figured out and tackled. Challenges such as “where do I even store all my inventory?!” And “how do I remind people I am not a amazon distribution center nor a Walmart power house that can buy thousands of units at a time offering bottom dollar prices?” However, if y’all bear with me, I really want to try offering these physical products! I think it will be really fun and cool for those of you who have been asking for printed versions for years. And my goal with the Fun With Frog series is to make sure you can get them in a timely fashion before the fall semester begins!

RoboSteps?

A lot of y’all have been asking about how you can get your hands on some RoboSteps! I brought them to sell at the convention and they sold out! So I need to create some more, which means coordinating with my manufacture (aka my Dad hehe) since he laser cuts each set. I’ve decided I’m going to look into creating a pre-order so I can figure out how many we need to make. More details on that coming later since currently my manufacturer (dad) is on a epic summer road trip out west!

Betty Sue Sticker Club – Latest Design!

Lastly, here is the design to the latest Betty Sue Sticker Club! At the convention, people really liked the “Woofgang Amadogus Muttzart” die cut sticker, so that inspired me to create an entire sticker sheets featuring dogs! Bow-wowtoven is based on my own dog, Scruffy, so this was very fun to draw!

Interested in receiving these designs? Sign up for the Betty Sue Sticker Club by June 29, 2025 (Sunday) to be eligible for this design!
