Cozy November
As the days get colder and the evenings get darker, I start craving everything cozy. Hot cocoa, sweaters, scarves, and warm glowing lanterns… these are all things that inspired this month’s “Cats ‘n Sweaters” theme! You saw it in the sticker club last post, which I’ve already mailed out! (Huge thank you to all my Betty Sue Sticker Club subscribers!) and now it’s all part of this month’s Studio Kit!
Cats ‘n Sweaters Studio Kit

This November’s Studio kit features coordinating Assignment Sheets, Pennant Banner, Bookmarks, Bulletin Borders, Month Calendar, Coloring Sheets, Fun Sheets (from early elementary to later elementary), Greeting Card, Mini Poster/Binder Cover, and new this time: Practice Tickets and Thankful Notes! It’s all hand illustrated by me, Liz.
In particular, I really love this month’s bookmark. It features a full illustration of a bundled up cat exploring a cave. Look what he’s found!
Laminating Bookmarks
I had a few people ask me how to make the bookmarks, so I created the following video about laminating them. Laminating the bookmarks are totally optional, but I definitely recommend you use some sort of thick cardstock. Check your printer’s manual on how thick of paper your printer can print. (I don’t keep manuals around, so I just google it!)

I made a video demonstrating two different ways to laminate your bookmarks. Check it out here!
Huge thank you to those writing reviews!
Thank you to everyone who has been writing reviews on my products. I’ve also received some very sweet messages from people who have purchased resources, and please know that it really makes my day! Product reviews are crucial for this little piano resources business and it also helps other piano teachers out a lot! I have a really sweet community. Thank you for taking the time!
Thanksgiving is almost here!
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. There is no pressure of gift giving and my family cooks DELICIOUS southern recipes passed down from my grandmother. We eat sweet potato souffle, deviled spinach, and mac ‘n cheese casserole (among other things). I’m also not one to jump into Christmas cheer the day after Halloween… I like to give Thanksgiving it’s moment! (It also happens to by my son’s birthday on Thanksgiving this year!)
If you are enjoying the Thanksgiving season this November, check out the Thanksgiving Category! I particularly love anything that involves a cartoon turkey!
Winter Recitals
Does your music studio do a winter recital? If you do, you may want to check out all the Holiday and Christmas music arranged/composed by Susan Paradis on the site! You can find the full collection of Christmas and Winter Holiday teaching resources here.
I will also include a recital program page in the upcoming December Studio Kit.
Piano Trios!
Explore the TRIOS available at SusanParadis.com. They are great for holiday parties, group lessons, or as a show stopper at the holiday recital. There are holiday trios available from early elementary to intermediate. I like playing a Christmas trio at my family’s Christmas gathering since my mom taught so many of my relatives piano! It’s nice to hear music in the house even though my mother is no longer with us.
Betty Sue Sticker Club
It’s been almost a FULL YEAR since I launched the Betty Sue Sticker Club! I’ve illustrated 33 different sticker sheets so far. I am planning to do a little format change to the Betty Sue Sticker Club, but it will still be the same amount of stickers each month. More on that in the future!
I just posted the latest Betty Sue Sticker Club theme on the front page at SusanParadis.com . For December, I decided to go full out HOLIDAY cheer! The theme is “Minty Melodies” (and you will that theme again in the December Studio Kit when it’s launched).
Important Dates!
Last Day to Sign up to receive the “Minty Melodies” sticker sheet set: November 23, 2025.
Stickers are mailed out the following day, November 24. This is so you will have access to the Minty Melodies stickers for the entire month of December!
For the peppermint page, I decided to put little notes and rests of the them because I thought it might be fun to do a composing activity with them! Or you can use them as chart stickers.
Thank you for reading through my blog this month! I’ll be posting again soon!
