About Betty Sue
Hi, I’m Liz Boyd, the artist behind Betty Sue. I design music themed art, gifts, and teaching resources, from earrings and greeting cards to stickers and printables, all made for people who love music and the people who teach it. Betty Sue is a small, one person shop, so when you order from me, you’re supporting an independent artist directly. I’m so glad you’re here.
You can learn more about Betty Sue here!
You’re welcome to, but I actually go by Liz! Betty Sue is a nickname for my real name, Elizabeth Susan (Susan is my middle name, named after my mother). It’s a little too cutesy for me to go by day to day, so I’m Liz in person. But the whimsical sound of “Betty Sue” is perfect for my playful art brand! So the shop is Betty Sue, and the artist is me, Liz.
Susan Paradis was my mom. She founded this website in 2006 and spent years creating beloved piano teaching resources. After she passed in 2024, I took over the business and everything in it, and I’ve been carrying it forward under my own brand, Betty Sue, while continuing to care for the teaching materials she created.
So you may see two names here. Betty Sue is my parent brand for the art and products I create, and Susan Paradis Piano Teaching Resources continues as a sub-brand for the teaching materials that use her original work. If you spot “Susan Paradis Piano Teaching Resources” on the copyright of an older product, that’s still valid and refers to this same shop, now run by me. Everything here is mine to sell and continue.
I love hearing these! If there’s something you’d like to see in the shop, send it my way through my contact page. I can’t promise every idea will make it into a product, but I read them all, and customer suggestions have inspired real items before.
Ordering and Payment
Add the item or items to your cart and go to Checkout. Fill out your information, which sets up an account if you don’t already have one. Be sure to check the box agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, then click Place Order and complete your payment.
You can pay with all major credit and debit cards, Google Pay, PayPal, and Link. Card payments are processed securely right at checkout, and you no longer need a PayPal account to pay by card. Just choose the Card option and enter your details.
When you order, you’ll set up an account that saves your download links. You can find your files two ways:
- In your account: click Account, log in, and look under Downloads.
- By email: your links are sent to the email you used at checkout. If you don’t see the message, check your Spam, Junk, Trash, or Promotions folders.
If your order isn’t in your account and your payment has gone through, please reach out through my contact page and I’ll help.Betty Sue is my parent brand, covering the original art, gifts, and products I create. Susan Paradis Piano Teaching Resources continues as a sub-brand for the piano teaching materials that use my mother’s original work, so you may see either name depending on what you’re looking at. You may also notice “Susan Paradis Piano Teaching Resources” on the copyright of older products. Those notices are still valid and refer to the same business, now run by me.

Uh oh! First, check your spam, junk, and promotions folders, since confirmation emails sometimes land there. If you still can’t find it, reach out through my contact page with the name and email you used at checkout, and I’ll make sure your order went through and get your confirmation and any download links to you.
Digital Downloads
A digital download is a file you receive electronically and print or use at home. Nothing is mailed to you. After you buy, you get a link to download the file, and you can print it or use it on a tablet. If you’d like a walkthrough, see my Digital Downloads Tutorial.
Newer editable products open in Canva, which is free and works right in your web browser on a computer, phone, or tablet. I’ve moved away from editing PDFs in Adobe because Canva is much easier for most teachers. For step by step help, see How to edit in Canva or How to edit a PDF online.
Because of the nature of digital downloads, once a file is available to download it cannot be returned or exchanged, so all digital sales are final. If something went wrong with your order, please reach out through my contact page and I’ll do what I can to help.
Physical Products, Shipping, and Returns
Each product listing says whether it’s a physical item that ships to you or a digital download you receive electronically. Physical products like earrings, cards, and stickers are mailed. Digital downloads like printable teaching resources are delivered as files, with nothing sent in the mail. If you’re ever unsure, the listing and your cart will show it before you pay.
I ship physical products to the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. Orders over $65 ship free within the US. Other orders ship via USPS Ground Advantage with tracking, and shipping is calculated by the actual weight of your order, set to closely match what I pay USPS.
International shipping is calculated at checkout and can be higher, so if you are ordering from outside the USA, please review your total before completing your order and make sure you are comfortable with the shipping price. Full details are on my Shipping and Returns page.
Digital downloads: all sales are final, with no refunds or exchanges.
Physical products: because they’re handmade and printed, all sales are final. If your order arrives damaged or something isn’t right, please reach out through my contact page and I’ll make it right.
Oh no, I’m sorry! While all sales are final, I absolutely want to make it right if something arrived damaged or wasn’t what you ordered. Please reach out through my contact page with your order number, a description of the problem, and a photo if you can include one. I’ll take care of it from there.
The Sticker Club is a monthly subscription that sends two hand illustrated, music themed sticker sheets to your mailbox each month. It renews automatically on the date you signed up, and you can cancel any time. New designs are revealed mid month on Instagram and Facebook, and stickers ship on the last Monday of the month. Full subscription terms are on my Terms of Use page. Sign up for my club here!
Licensing and
Terms of Use
When you buy music or teaching printables in my shop, you’re granted a studio license. This lets a single teacher print as many copies as they need for the students in their own private studio, whether printed at home or at a print shop. The files are for the exclusive use of the person who bought them and may not be shared with other teachers. In a school or business with more than one teacher, each teacher should buy their own license. See the full Terms of Use for details.
The art in each product is licensed for use within that product only. It may not be reused in other documents, resold, or used to create new products. All music, artwork, graphic design, and text on this site are copyright Betty Sue / Liz Boyd, including works previously published under the Susan Paradis Piano Teaching Resources name. See the full Terms of Use for details.
BettySue.Shop includes a blog of articles and teaching resources, written by Liz Boyd and originally founded by Susan Paradis. Some posts contain affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission when you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. These commissions help support the blog and the free resources I share.
Any reviews and opinions here are my own and are not paid or solicited. Most products I recommend are ones I purchased myself for private studio or personal use. In a small number of cases I may have received a review copy, and I note that where it applies.
General Questions
The main search will search for products (digital and physical). It’s located in the top left corner on computers, and in the menu for mobile devices. It’s also at the foot of every webpage.
For a blog post, go to my blog pages and use the search there. That search box searches for blog posts exclusively.
This site started in 2006 and many older items have been removed, so if you can’t find something, it may no longer be available.
If you don’t have the instructions, the game was most likely downloaded free from the blog before 2020. Games and their instructions are now sold in the store, so please check whether the game is available to purchase. If it isn’t listed, it has been retired, and I’m not able to send instructions for retired games.

Please note that every printer, device, and operating system is a little different, so I’m not able to troubleshoot your specific printer, browser, or device settings. For those, your printer or device manufacturer’s support will be able to help.
