I finally finished!
After months and months of agonizing over it, I FINALLY finished the rebranding! URLs have been updated. New branded emails have been created. And a lot of behind-the-scenes website maintenance (the scariest part) has been completed!
The new site, BettySue.shop, now better fits my creative interests and future projects for this business. My passion is in creating gifts and stationery for ALL music lovers!
However, I am VERY aware that most of you are here because of my mother, Susan Paradis, and her piano teaching resources. And don’t worry, not only do I continue to plan to make more music educational learning tools, (such as my recent launch of my physical products), I also plan to house all of the Susan Paradis Legacy Collection here permanently. The brand “Susan Paradis Piano Teaching Resources” lives on for all the educational materials on the site.

Betty Sue Sticker Club
I just mailed out the Betty Sue Sticker Club stickers yesterday, so they should be arriving at the start of April. They are so cute, I hope my club members love them!
I recently did a survey asking my club members how they like to use their stickers. It was about 50/50 on whether they share them with their students, or they keep them for themselves for journaling and other personal use. Both options make me so happy, and truly, running this sticker subscription is my dream come true.

Susan Paradis Scholarship fundraising is starting soon! My mother had the honor of having a scholarship named after her by the Plano Music Teaching Association, an organization she belonged to for as long as I can remember. This scholarship is used to help send students to music summer camps. My mother personally loved that it was a need-based scholarship opposed to merit.
Last year, with the help of my bookmark sales, the PMTA was able to help fund 3 students to go to music camp!
I remember going to music camp in 4th grade. We studied disco music, sang in rounds, practiced ‘Jack Sprat’ rhythms, sang the “Snap, Crackle, Pop” rice crispy song… let me just say this: I don’t remember any of my other summer camps in that much detail. Music camp made SUCH an impact on my life, and I’m so happy to help share that with students who might not otherwise get the opportunity.
I will have MORE bookmarks for sale this year, and in addition to that, I am making a new fundraising product: Music Book Holder! I am designing them myself, cutting them on my laser cutter, and hand piecing all the parts together. It will also be morning glory themed, because that is a flower that reminds me of my mother. I plant them every year in memory of her. (Who am I kidding… I planted them once, and they just keep coming up by seed whether I’d want them or not!! hehe).
I’m still working out the design, but this is what I have so far:
I’m thinking about making an coordinating morning glory sticker, as well! This bookmark design is one of my favorite illustrations. It hides 8 musical symbols within its foliage.
